The Trung sisters were two Vietnamese military leaders who rose to prominence during the first century AD. They are known for leading a rebellion against the Chinese domination of Vietnam and establishing an independent Vietnamese state. Trung Trac and Trung Nhi are celebrated as national heroes in Vietnam, and many monuments and festivals are held in their honor.
Me Linh is a rural district (huyen) of Hanoi, formerly of Vinh Phuc province, in the Red River Delta region of northern Vietnam. Me Linh district is bordered by Dong Anh district to the east, Sa³c Son district to the northeast, Dan Phuong district to the south, Vinh Phuc province to the west and north.
